We Believe that God is the creator of the world and all that is in it.
That Jesus is the Son of God.
That Jesus' death and resurrection were necessary to deal with the sin that had separated each of us from God.
That faith in Jesus brings each of us into a personal relationship with God.
That the Holy Spirit is God in the world today and He gives us the power to live a new life.
That the Bible is God's message to us and it is relevant and authoritative today.
Our members run the Church and its activities. Leadership is the responsibility of Elders appointed from our own fellowship. All our expenses are paid by voluntary donations from our members.
We began seventy years ago as an open assembly of Christian Brethren. Over the years our style has changed, but not our message:-
The church developed into Francis Road Evangelical Church – a name it enjoyed for many years until it was felt that Ashford Community Church better portrayed its mission to serve the community in which it is based.
"Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from our sins" and gave us "Life in all its fullness".
